Construction Progress Monitoring in Austin, TX

Scheduled drone flights that document your site the same way every visit, delivered in DroneDeploy for your whole team.

One Flight Plan. Every Visit. A Complete Record.

Most site photos are taken from wherever someone happened to be standing. Ours aren't. We set a capture plan at kickoff, with fixed positions, heights, and mapping routes, and fly it on a regular schedule for the life of your project. Every update lines up with the last, so progress is easy to see, easy to report, and easy to prove.

Who It's For

General Contractors

Owner reports, OAC meetings, pay app backup, and a visual record if a dispute ever comes up.

Developers & Owners

Clear updates on what's happening at the site without needing to be there.

VDC & Precon Teams

Measurable orthomosaics and models to compare against plans.

Lenders & Investors

Independent visual confirmation of progress before draws.

What You Get Every Visit

Real deliverables from real Central Texas sites. Every flight is processed in DroneDeploy and organized by date, so your team can measure, compare, and share progress without waiting on anyone. On one recent site we measured a single stockpile at 12,186 cubic yards, about 18,277 tons, across 28,235 square feet.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the commitment?

3-month minimum, then month to month for the life of the project.

Can we change how often you fly?

Yes. With 30 days notice you can move between weekly, every two weeks, and monthly as the project changes phases.

What if our site is larger than 20 acres?

Pricing steps up in size bands, and mapping plans scale more than photo plans because every acre gets flown. Sites over 200 acres are quoted individually.

What if weather cancels a flight?

We reschedule as soon as conditions allow, typically within 3 business days, and keep your schedule consistent.

Can our team and the owner both access the data?

Yes. DroneDeploy lets you share access with anyone on the project.

Do you work outside Austin?

Yes. Travel within 40 miles of Austin is included, and sites beyond that are quoted with a travel fee.

How accurate is the mapping?

Our RTK-equipped Matrice 4E positions every photo to within about 1 cm horizontally and 1.5 cm vertically. Final map accuracy depends on the site, so for projects that need a verified number we add surveyed ground control and checkpoints and report the result.

RTK Orthomosaics Every Visit

Measurable maps that line up visit after visit

Standard and Complete plans include an RTK orthomosaic on every visit: one high resolution, top down map stitched from hundreds of overlapping photos. Because we fly the same route each time and our Matrice 4E positions every photo to within about a centimeter, each new map lines up with the last one. Your team can measure distances and areas, check work against plans, and flip between dates in DroneDeploy to see exactly what changed since the last flight.

Side by Side, Visit to Visit

A dated record your whole team can use

Every visit is uploaded to DroneDeploy and filed by date, so anyone on the project can pull up two flights and compare them side by side. Superintendents use it to track milestones between OAC meetings, project managers drop the images straight into owner reports and pay app backup, and owners can check progress from their phone without a site walk. If a question ever comes up about when something was installed or covered up, the answer is already in the record.

Stockpile and Earthwork Volumes

Measured from the same flight as your map

On Complete plans we turn each flight into a 3D surface model and measure stockpiles, cut and fill, and excavation volumes right from the data. On one recent site, a single stockpile measured 12,186 cubic yards, about 18,277 tons, spread across 28,235 square feet with a 740 foot perimeter. Run the same measurement every visit and you can track material coming in and going out, back up quantities on pay apps, and spot shortfalls before they hold up the schedule. When a project needs a verified number, we add surveyed ground control and report the accuracy.

Why GCs Keep Us on Retainer

On schedule, on plan, and safe on an active site

A retainer only works if the pilot shows up when promised and knows how to behave on an active job. We check in with your superintendent, follow your site safety plan, and stay clear of crane picks and active work zones.

Our pilots are FAA Part 107 certified and OSHA trained, every flight is covered by $2M in drone liability insurance, and additional insured certificates are available on request. Airspace authorizations are handled before we arrive, so a flight never holds up your crew.

Because the same capture plan is flown on every visit, you get consistent data instead of a different look each week, plus one local point of contact who already knows your site.

More Questions From Project Teams

Hover over a question to see the answer

1. Can you start monitoring partway through a project?

Yes. We can start at any phase. The first visit sets the baseline and the capture plan, and every flight after that lines up with it, so you still get a clean record from that point to closeout.

2. How soon is the data ready after a flight?

Progress photos are delivered within 48 hours. Orthomosaics, 3D models, and volume reports are processed in DroneDeploy and usually ready within a few business days, organized by visit date.

3. Can we use the images in owner reports and pay apps?

Yes. Every photo and map is yours to download and use in owner reports, OAC meeting decks, pay app backup, and marketing once the project wraps.

4. Do you handle airspace approvals near downtown or the airport?

Yes. Much of central Austin sits in controlled airspace. We request the FAA authorization for your site at kickoff so recurring flights run on schedule without delays.

5. What happens to the data when the project is done?

At closeout you get a full archive of every visit, ready to hand to the owner, keep for warranty questions, or use in your marketing.
